Pertamina Patra Niaga guarantees fuel and LPG availability during religious holidays
Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Pertamina Patra Niaga has confirmed adequate supplies of fuel oil (BBM) and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) for the public, including during major religious celebrations.
Taufik Aditiyawarman, Deputy Director-General of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, stated that a strong synergy has been established between the state enterprise and the government to ensure adequate BBM and LPG supplies during major religious holiday celebrations.
“Ahead of Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr, we are coordinating with other holding companies and activated our Ramadan Task Force from 9 March onwards. We also continue coordinating with the command posts of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources to cross-check whether any location faces shortages. We cross-verify information, and field terminals communicate with each other so we can redistribute supplies as needed,” Aditiyawarman stated in Jakarta on Tuesday.
Pertamina has mobilised fuel and LPG infrastructure during the Ramadan and Eid period (Rafi), including 1,620 fuel stations (SPBU), 439 Pertashops, 2,331 LPG agents (2,093 subsidy-based and 238 non-subsidy), 206 electric vehicle charging stations (176 subsidy-based and 30 non-subsidy), and 2 kerosene agents (1 subsidy-based and 1 non-subsidy).
For the West Java region, Pertamina has provided energy services across key routes including toll roads, tourism routes, and main highways. These comprise 427 round-the-clock fuel stations, 2,180 standby LPG agents, 18 BBM and Pertamina Kiosk service points, 52 motorist/portable distribution centres for fuel, 563 Bright Gas agents, 62 standby fuel tanker trucks, and 11 MyPertamina convenience service units.
Previously, Deputy Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Yuliot conducted a working visit to PT Pertamina’s Fuel Terminal in Padalarang, West Bandung District, West Java, to verify the reliability of fuel and LPG supplies ahead of Eid al-Fitr 1447 AH.
The visit was part of monitoring activities for the National Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr Command Post (Rafi) under the Energy and Mineral Resources sector in 2026 to ensure adequate energy supplies for the public, particularly those undertaking travel and tourism during the Eid al-Fitr holiday period.
