Pertamina Patra Niaga Expands Energy Access to Communities
This collaboration marks the initial step to expand the Bright Gas outlet network through SRC stores in various regions of Indonesia. Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, through PT Pertamina Retail, is expanding energy access for the public via the presence of Bright Gas outlets in the Sampoerna Retail Community (SRC) store network. Director of Retail Marketing at Pertamina Patra Niaga, Eko Ricky Susanto, stated in Jakarta on Friday that this collaboration is part of the synergy in developing the Bright Gas LPG distribution network while strengthening the role of UMKM in providing closer and more accessible energy to the public. “This partnership is the first step to expand the Bright Gas outlet network through SRC stores in various regions of Indonesia,” he said. The inauguration of the Bright Gas outlet took place at SRC YD Makmur Jaya in Bandung, West Java, on Thursday (7/5/2026). In the initial implementation phase, the programme covers five outlets actively serving sales of Bright Gas Family, namely Bright Gas 5.5 kg, Bright Gas 12 kg, and Bright Gas Can 220 gr. Greater Bandung has been designated as the pilot project area with a target development of up to 50 outlets, and nationally, the programme is targeted to reach up to 1,500 outlets across Indonesia. “Pertamina Patra Niaga hopes that with SRC, it will become a new partnership that can further expand the Bright Gas outlet network, not only in Bandung City as one of the pilots, but also in other cities,” Eko Ricky explained. The widespread store network, which directly interacts with communities, can serve as an extension of services in providing closer and more inclusive energy access. “The presence of Bright Gas is expected to benefit the surrounding communities as well as UMKM players, and the national economy,” stated Romulus. Through this collaboration, Eko Ricky added, Pertamina Patra Niaga, together with Pertamina Retail and SRC Indonesia Sembilan, hopes to continue expanding energy access for the public while supporting UMKM growth through a stronger retail network closer to communities.
