Amid geopolitical dynamics in the Middle East region, Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Jatimbalinus has ensured that fuel supply and distribution for the public remain safe and controlled. The company continues to monitor global developments that could affect energy distribution domestically. Ahad Rahedi, Area Manager Communications, Relations & CSR for Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Jatimbalinus, said that current BBM stock levels in the Jatimbalinus region are at a safe level. ‘At present, the resilience of BBM stock, particularly in the Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Jatimbalinus area, is assured to meet public needs, especially during Ramadan and the Idul Fitri celebrations. This availability is being strengthened through routine and scheduled supplies in line with the established supply and distribution planning, plus the stock build-up pattern that has been implemented ahead of Ramadan,’ Ahad said in a written statement on Friday (6 March).

He added that BBM distribution to dispensing institutions has so far proceeded smoothly without significant impediments. Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Jatimbalinus continues to strengthen cross-sector coordination with the government, law enforcement, and various stakeholders to anticipate dynamics or potential disruptions in the distribution process.

As a precaution, Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Jatimbalinus has also implemented the RAE method (Regular, Alternative, and Emergency) in the management of the energy supply chain and distribution.

‘Various mitigation steps are being taken to ensure continued supply resilience, while prioritising worker safety, asset security, and operational continuity through intensive monitoring and strengthened risk management,’ concluded Ahad.

Additionally, in preparation for the mudik peak period and Idul Fitri celebrations, Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Jatimbalinus will also commence the Ramadan and Idul Fitri Task Force readiness Kick-Off on 9 March. This Task Force has been formed to ensure the readiness of infrastructure, supply, and energy services for the public during Ramadan through Idul Fitri.

Pertamina also urges the public to remain calm and not panic buy fuel according to need. If violations or discomfort are found at dispensing outlets, the public may report via Pertamina Contact Center 135.
