Pertamina Patra Niaga Ensures Oversight of Fuel Distribution in Jambi

Pertamina Patra Niaga is responding to information circulating on social media regarding alleged violations involving fuel tankers in the Jambi region. The company, through the Sumbagsel Regional office, together with PT Elnusa Petrofin as the transporter, has conducted a thorough internal verification and investigation.

The Corporate Secretary of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Roberth MV Dumatubun, affirmed that Pertamina Patra Niaga is committed to maintaining the integrity of national energy distribution and does not tolerate any form of violation in the fuel distribution chain.

Based on the initial inspection, as a form of commitment to enforcing regulations and the integrity of energy distribution, the Tanker Truck Crew (AMT) involved have been subject to termination of employment by the transport company, and the case has also been reported to the police to be processed in accordance with applicable legal provisions.

“Pertamina Patra Niaga is committed to carrying out fuel distribution in a transparent, accountable, and compliant manner with applicable regulations. Every indication of violation will be followed up with a thorough investigation process, and if violations are proven, strict sanctions will be given in accordance with company and applicable legal provisions,” said Roberth, quoted from his statement, Saturday, May 16, 2026.

He added that Pertamina Patra Niaga continues to strengthen the fuel distribution monitoring system throughout its operational areas through operational monitoring, periodic evaluations of business partners, and strengthening synergy with Law Enforcement Agencies (APH) and related stakeholders.
