Pertamina Patra Niaga Ensures Optimal Fuel Distribution

Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Pertamina Patra Niaga continues to undertake various strategic steps to ensure that the distribution of fuel oil (BBM) runs optimally throughout the country. Corporate Secretary of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Roberth MV Dumatubun, stated in Jakarta on Wednesday that these efforts are carried out through strengthened coordination and negotiations with suppliers, as well as the optimisation of the distribution system to keep supplies safe and available for the public. “We affirm that we will continue to make maximum efforts in facing the existing dynamics, prioritising service reliability and the continuity of national energy distribution,” he said. Roberth conveyed that Pertamina Patra Niaga always implements government policies, including the absence of fuel price adjustments, for both non-subsidised and subsidised fuels. “On the other hand, various strategic efforts are also being carried out, such as negotiations with suppliers and distribution optimisation, to ensure that energy availability remains maintained for the public,” he added. Pertamina also invites the public to implement the government’s energy-saving policy through personal and institutional activities. In addition, the public is expected not to be easily influenced by unverified information that could trigger panic or panic buying. According to him, efficient and responsible energy use is one of the keys to maintaining national energy resilience. Active public participation in maintaining reasonable consumption will greatly assist the smooth distribution of energy in the field. “Through synergy between the government, security apparatus, and the public, it is hoped that national energy availability can continue to be maintained optimally to support the activities and economic growth of the Indonesian people,” said Roberth.
