Pertamina Patra Niaga continues to ensure that fuel and LPG supplies in the Flores region of East Nusa Tenggara are maintained and gradually restored following the earthquake that occurred on 15 August 2026.

Vice President of Corporate Communication at Pertamina Patra Niaga, Kitty Andhora, stated that based on operational updates as of 15 August 2026, of the total 52 petrol stations in the Flores region, 32 are operational and 20 remain closed due to the impact of the disaster. The operational status of petrol stations is dynamic and continues to be monitored according to developments on the ground.

“Some of the petrol stations that are not yet operational are experiencing difficulties due to power outages, damage to facilities, and environmental conditions still affected by the earthquake. Meanwhile, at several other petrol stations, the facilities are in safe condition, but operations cannot yet resume because operators are still considering safety factors and anticipating the possibility of aftershocks,” Kitty explained.

Pertamina Patra Niaga continues to coordinate with local governments and relevant stakeholders to maintain smooth distribution. Fuel distribution is carried out using tanker trucks with extra security, particularly on routes affected by landslides. The 20 petrol stations currently not operational will be gradually restored while prioritising safety.

“We continue to maintain fuel and LPG supplies, and the restoration of petrol station operations is carried out gradually according to conditions on the ground. We also ensure that the public continues to have access to energy needs through petrol stations that are still operating,” Kitty said.

In the Manggarai area, two petrol stations have suffered facility damage in the filling area and are therefore unable to operate. Meanwhile, the public can use other petrol stations in the region, such as SPBU 54.86.501 on Jl. Yos Sudarso, Mbaumuku Village, Langke Rembong District, Manggarai Regency; SPBU 54.86.503 on Jl. Ruteng - Benteng Jawa, Tenda, Langke Rembong District, Manggarai Regency; and SPBU 54.86.509 on Jl. Raya Ruteng-Labuan Bajo Km 4, Mena, Wali Village, Langke Rembong District, Manggarai Regency.

Meanwhile, five LPG agents in the Flores region are still operating with facilities in safe condition. LPG stock at each agent continues to be monitored and adjusted according to distribution and supply needs.
