Pertamina Patra Niaga encourages automotive communities to use quality fuel

JAKARTA (ANTARA) - PT Pertamina Patra Niaga has urged automotive communities to use quality fuel and lubricants responsibly. Corporate Secretary Roberth MV Dumatubun stated on Monday in Jakarta that education on appropriate energy use must be strengthened through collaboration with various societal elements, including automotive communities. “Promoting responsible energy use is a shared responsibility. We invite the public and automotive communities to collaborate in spreading awareness about using fuel according to vehicle specifications, efficient energy utilisation, and maintaining vehicle performance through quality products,” he said. Through this collaboration, Pertamina hopes public awareness of more responsible energy use will continue to grow. Roberth added that to further educate on responsible energy use, Pertamina held a “Casual Chat with Automotive Communities” event in Jakarta on Thursday, May 21. Dozens of members from 10 two- and four-wheeled vehicle communities attended the event as part of efforts to strengthen collaboration with communities in promoting more responsible and efficient energy use. VP of Marketing Heppy Wulansari said participants received information on using the correct fuel for vehicle specifications, the importance of quality lubricants, energy efficiency, and the benefits of the MyPertamina app. She added that Pertamina is continuously improving services at petrol stations to enhance customer experience. The forum also featured speakers including Corporate Communication Manager Dian Hapsari Firasati, VP of Retail Fuel Sales Windrian Kurniawan, automotive expert Rifat Sungkar, and energy analyst Komaidi Notonegoro. Rifat noted that automotive communities play a crucial role as agents of change in conveying accurate information to the public regarding fuel, lubricant use, and vehicle maintenance. “Using fuel with the correct RON and lubricants according to specifications is essential for maintaining vehicle performance,” he said. One participant, Siska, said the event provided significant benefits for the community, particularly in broadening knowledge about responsible energy use. “Through this event, we hope communities can serve as positive information channels for the public in selecting the right energy products, using vehicles responsibly, and utilising MyPertamina’s digital services for easier and more valuable transactions,” Roberth said.
