Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Pertamina Patra Niaga is committed to distributing 3kg LPG to the Red and White Village Cooperatives (KDKMP) as part of the company’s efforts to support the government’s priority programmes.

VP of Corporate Communication at PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, Kitty Andhora, stated in Jakarta on Friday that as of the end of September 2024, Pertamina Patra Niaga has distributed 3kg LPG to 958 KDKMP spread across various regions in Indonesia, and continues to strive to improve its distribution services.

“We continue to support government programmes through KDKMP, one of which is by strengthening energy access and distribution at the village and sub-district levels. This support is realised through the distribution of 3kg LPG as part of a collective effort to meet community energy needs while driving the local economy,” she explained.

She continued that this support is also a form of synergy between Pertamina Patra Niaga, the government, and relevant stakeholders in optimising the role of KDKMP as part of the economic and energy distribution ecosystem in villages and sub-districts.

Kitty stated that Pertamina Patra Niaga is committed to supporting various government programmes aimed at providing direct benefits to the community.

“Pertamina Patra Niaga supports the Red and White Village/Sub-district Cooperative programme as part of our synergy with the government to strengthen the community economy at the village and sub-district levels. Through support for energy access and distribution, we hope KDKMP can provide tangible benefits to the community while supporting economic activities in their respective areas,” said Kitty.

She explained that support through 3kg LPG is one form of collaboration by Pertamina Patra Niaga in supporting the implementation of KDKMP.

With access to 3kg LPG, KDKMP is expected to help strengthen energy availability for the community in its area, while remaining in compliance with applicable provisions and regulations.

Pertamina Patra Niaga will continue to coordinate with the central government, local governments, and relevant stakeholders in supporting the implementation of the KDKMP programme.

This synergy is conducted to ensure that support for government programmes can run optimally while providing benefits to the public.

“The synergy between the government, KDKMP, and Pertamina Patra Niaga is a vital part of ensuring this programme can run effectively,” said Kitty.

She added that Pertamina Patra Niaga will continue to evaluate, improve, and enhance energy distribution services to KDKMP, which is prepared to operate through service improvements and the addition of outlets within KDKMP.

“We will continue to support according to the role and capacity of Pertamina Patra Niaga, particularly in the provision and distribution of energy for the community,” said Kitty.
