PT Pertamina Patra Niaga has adjusted domestic jet fuel prices effective 1 June 2026. The reduction of up to 10% applies across all Indonesian airports, reflecting global energy market dynamics.

National average jet fuel prices in June 2026 decreased by up to 10% compared to May 2026. For instance, at Soekarno-Hatta (CGK) Aviation Fuel Terminal, the price fell from Rp24,580 to Rp22,190 per litre.

Similarly, prices at Ngurah Rai (DPS) dropped from Rp26,190 to Rp23,480 per litre, and at Kualanamu (KNO) from Rp25,720 to Rp23,090 per litre. Variations in reductions across airports depend on the applicable formula and logistics considerations.

Jet fuel price adjustments are made monthly in line with regulations, calculated based on international published averages with Mean of Platts Singapore (MOPS) Kerosene/Jet as the regional benchmark.

Global energy prices showed a downward trend in May 2026, which was reflected in June’s jet fuel prices.

Roberth MV. Dumatubun, Corporate Secretary of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, stated the price adjustment follows a transparent mechanism aligned with global energy market trends.

‘This jet fuel price adjustment is based on the formula set by regulators, namely the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM), and considers global energy price developments. When global energy prices fall, the adjustment is reflected in jet fuel prices according to the established mechanism,’ he said.

Roberth further explained that the policy aims to balance commercial aspects, supply sustainability, and service reliability for aviation users.

‘We expect this price adjustment to positively impact domestic aviation activities, support national tourism development, improve regional connectivity, and boost local economic growth. With more competitive pricing, the aviation industry can continue to grow and deliver broader benefits to society,’ he added.
