Pertamina Patra Niaga Boss Emphasises Pindex 2026 as a Platform for Collaboration to Enhance the Value of the National Energy Sector
The Director of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Mars Ega Legowo Putra, emphasised that the Pertamina Patra Niaga Infrastructure Downstream Experience (Pindex) 2026 event is being held as a forum for collaboration that brings together various parties, particularly to strengthen Indonesia’s economic resilience.
During the opening of Pindex 2026 in Tangerang, Banten, on Wednesday (3/6), Mars Ega invited all parties to explore various opportunities for developing the energy sector, starting from the reform of petrol stations, more modern tanker truck concepts, fuel terminals that can be developed into blending facilities, to biorefinery technology, digitalisation and artificial intelligence that are relevant to future operational needs.
“Pindex is not just a forum for meetings between suppliers and buyers, but it is a forum for sharing knowledge, seeing opportunities for collaboration, and together creating value,” he said in a written statement received in Jakarta, Thursday, 4 June 2026.
According to him, the event, which is the first downstream engineering innovation event organised by Pertamina Patra Niaga, is also a platform to showcase technology, infrastructure and innovation in the downstream energy sector in supporting national energy resilience and independence.
Meanwhile, the Director of Downstream Optimisation and Distribution of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Hari Purnomo, revealed that during the three-day event from 3-5 June 2026, the event will feature 73 exhibition booths from companies and brands in the technology and energy infrastructure sectors, as well as national and international strategic partners, as well as a conference and discussion space to strengthen collaboration and the adoption of reliable downstream technologies.
“The technology presented by the partners covers various aspects, ranging from instrumentation, pipelines, tanker trucks, safety, occupational health, security and environment (HSSE), to the maritime industry, especially those related to port facilities,” he explained.
On the same occasion, the Corporate Secretary of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Roberth MV Dumatubun, invited the public to attend PINDEX 2026 and gain insights into the development of future technology in the energy sector.
“We invite the public to come to Pindex and see firsthand how energy is distributed, the technology used, and the various innovations that support daily energy services,” he said.
