Pertamina Patra Niaga Boosts Fuel Distribution and Strengthens Supply in Several Regions
Pertamina Patra Niaga continues to ensure the public’s energy needs are met by optimising fuel distribution across Indonesia. VP Corporate Communication of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Kitty Andhora, stated that nationally, the fuel supply conditions at Pertamina Patra Niaga’s Fuel Terminals are available and sufficient. “Pertamina Patra Niaga continuously monitors the supply and distribution conditions of fuel in real time across all operational areas. Nationally, stocks are available, and we continue to optimise distribution so that public needs can be properly met,” said Kitty. Kitty explained that the phenomenon of queues is not caused by limited stock; Pertamina Patra Niaga has been distributing both gasoline and gasoil products above the average requirement. Various operational measures are being taken by Pertamina Patra Niaga to anticipate dynamic conditions in regions experiencing increased demand, including operating Fuel Terminals for 24 hours in high-demand areas to ensure the process of receiving, preparing, and distributing fuel runs non-stop. Pertamina is also adding tanker truck fleets in areas with increased needs to accelerate distribution to petrol stations. The company is arranging tanker truck operation patterns so that deliveries are made earlier, ensuring fuel supplies arrive at petrol stations before the start of public activities in the morning. Furthermore, it is managing vehicle entry lanes at petrol stations together with managers and local authorities to maintain smooth public access and traffic flow, and carrying out continuous monitoring of supply patterns, including the implementation of Regular, Alternative, and Emergency (RAE) supply patterns tailored to conditions in each region. In addition to ensuring supply availability, Pertamina Patra Niaga urges the public to use fuel wisely according to their needs and to purchase products according to their intended use. The public is also expected not to make excessive purchases, or panic buying, because distribution is ongoing. “We will continue to optimise distribution in all regions, especially in areas experiencing increased demand. We invite the public to remain calm, buy fuel as needed, and together support targeted fuel distribution so that the energy needs of the entire community can continue to be met,” concluded Kitty.
