Pertamina Patra Niaga Announces BOOM Period 1 Winners, 25 Motorcycles for Ride-Hailing Drivers
Pertamina Patra Niaga has held the draw for the first phase of its Berkah Ojek Online MyPertamina (BOOM) programme, rewarding ride-hailing drivers for their daily efforts in supporting public mobility.
The draw took place at Pertamina Daan Mogot 31.114.03 service station in Jakarta, coinciding with the second phase of the Free Emissions Testing programme.
For Phase 1, 25 Yamaha Lexi 155 motorcycles were awarded to participating ride-hailing drivers. The phase ran from 1 February to 30 April 2026, with 4,504 participants from various ride-hailing platforms. A total of 254,456 electronic vouchers were collected as participants converted MyPertamina points into draw entries.
Pertamina Patra Niaga’s Vice President of Marketing, Heppy Wulansari, highlighted the critical role of ride-hailing drivers in maintaining public mobility and their high fuel consumption needs. She praised drivers for using premium fuels like Pertamax Turbo, Pertamax Green 95, and Pertamax, calling them role models for adopting non-subsidised fuels appropriate to their segment and showing concern for engine quality and the environment. She expressed hope for increased participation in future phases.
Wulansari added that ride-hailing drivers frequently use Pertamina service stations not only for fuel transactions but also for facilities such as toilets, prayer rooms, and rest areas.
Corporate Secretary Roberth MV Dumatubun explained that the BOOM programme is part of Pertamina Patra Niaga’s efforts to appreciate drivers who support daily community activities. He stated, “Pertamina Patra Niaga highly appreciates these road heroes who help keep public mobility moving. Through BOOM, ride-hailing partners can transact more conveniently and profitably via MyPertamina.”
One participant, Grab driver Yasin Fadila (known as Hatori), expressed enthusiasm despite not winning in Phase 1. “This wasn’t my lucky phase, but I hope for better luck next time. I’ll continue using MyPertamina and supporting Pertamina’s initiatives for ride-hailing drivers,” he said.
The draw was witnessed by representatives from the Ministry of Social Affairs, Social Services Office, police, Kemasindo trade association, and a notary to ensure transparency and accountability.
BOOM Phase 2 will cover transactions from 1 May to 31 July 2026, and Phase 3 from 1 August to 31 October 2026. Pertamina Patra Niaga aims to encourage more consumers to utilise MyPertamina’s features and benefits through the programme.
