Area Manager of Communication, Relations & CSR for Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sumbagut, Fahrougi Andriani Sumampouw, stated that Polda Sumut’s support plays a vital role in ensuring the fuel distribution process is safe, smooth, and timely to petrol stations. ‘We appreciate the full support of the North Sumatra Police, who continue to synergise with Pertamina Patra Niaga in maintaining the smooth distribution of fuel. The security and escort provided help accelerate the distribution process so that the community’s energy needs can be met optimally,’ said Fahrougi. Head of Operations Bureau for Polda Sumut, Senior Commissioner Dr. Dwi Tunggal Jaladri, affirmed the police’s commitment to supporting the smooth distribution of energy as part of public service. ‘The North Sumatra Police is committed to supporting the smooth distribution of energy through security and escort to ensure fuel distribution is safe, orderly, and smooth. We will continue to synergise with Pertamina Patra Niaga and all stakeholders to maintain a conducive situation so that public services can run well,’ said Dwi Tunggal Jaladri. In addition to strengthening coordination with security forces, Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sumbagut is also optimising various distribution acceleration measures through 24-hour operations at the Integrated Terminal Medan Group, adding tanker truck fleets via a spot charter scheme, reinforcing tanker truck crew personnel, and optimising supply from the Kisaran Fuel Terminal, Siantar Fuel Terminal, and Lhokseumawe Integrated Terminal. Thanks to these efforts, operations at the Integrated Terminal Medan Group have now returned to normal, and fuel distribution to petrol stations in Medan and surrounding areas continues to run well. Pertamina Patra Niaga also confirmed that fuel stocks in the North Sumatra region are in a safe condition and continues to monitor stocks and distribution to ensure the community’s energy needs are met.
