Pertamina Patra Niaga, together with the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) and the Downstream Oil and Gas Regulator (BPH Migas), conducted an inspection of energy distribution readiness in West Java through a visit to the Padalarang Fuel Terminal and the Liquefied Petroleum Gas Bulk Loading and Transportation Station (SPPBE) operated by Patra Trading in the Padalarang Fuel Terminal area on Monday (16 March).

The inspection was carried out to ensure the readiness of fuel and LPG distribution infrastructure in supporting community energy needs ahead of the Eid al-Fitr travel season for 1447 Hijri in the Bandung region and surrounding areas.

The activity was attended by Deputy Minister of ESDM Yuliot Tanjung, Special Staff to the ESDM Minister for Investment and Economics Muhammad Mahmud Azhar Lubis, BPH Migas Committee Member and Chairman of the National Sectoral Task Force for ESDM Erika Retnowati, and National Energy Council Member Unggul Priyanto. From Pertamina Patra Niaga, the Deputy Director General Taufik Aditiyawarman, Director of Downstream Optimisation and Distribution Hari Purnomo, and Board Members Ardhy N. Mokobombang, Prabunindya Revta Revolusi, and Wanti Waranei F. Mamahit were present.

During the activity, the Board and Commissioners of Pertamina Patra Niaga and various stakeholders directly inspected the readiness of energy distribution facilities and ensured that fuel and LPG supply operations were functioning properly to serve the energy needs of the Greater Bandung region and surrounding areas during the Eid travel period.

Deputy Minister of ESDM Yuliot stated that this inspection is part of the government’s efforts to ensure that energy services for the community remain secure during Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr.

“With the readiness from Pertamina Patra Niaga, we are confident that until the peak of travel and the return journey, the availability of fuel will, God willing, be secure. This is part of how we provide the best service to the community, particularly in ensuring energy provision,” said Yuliot on Monday (16 March).

Yuliot also expressed appreciation to Pertamina Patra Niaga and related parties who have prepared various measures to ensure that energy services for the community remain secure during the Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr period.

“May the community who undertake the Eid journey be able to travel smoothly without any constraints regarding fuel and LPG availability, with sufficient energy supplies available, and be able to gather with their families in their home villages,” added Yuliot.

Meanwhile, Pertamina Patra Niaga’s Deputy Director General Taufik Aditiyawarman stated that Pertamina Patra Niaga continues to ensure energy distribution readiness through the Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr Task Force (RAFI Task Force) so that community needs remain fulfilled during the travel period.

“Our role at Pertamina Patra Niaga is to ensure the availability of fuel and LPG in accordance with the minimum national reserves that have been set by both BPH Migas and the ESDM Ministry. To anticipate Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr, we activated the Task Force from 9 March and we continue to coordinate with the ESDM Ministry,” explained Taufik.

Taufik added that Pertamina Patra Niaga continues to work to ensure energy services remain available to the community, including through various additional services on travel routes.

“In any situation, we will respond to ensure the availability of fuel and LPG is available to the community,” concluded Taufik.
