Pertamina Patra Niaga Adds 23 Million 3 kg LPG Cylinders During Eid Holiday

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - During the long holiday period and increased public activities amid Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr, Pertamina Patra Niaga has added more than 23 million 3 kg LPG cylinders to its national distribution in March 2026. This addition serves as a precautionary measure against the spike in energy needs, particularly for household and micro-business segments.

This facultative addition is part of Pertamina Patra Niaga’s strategy to maintain national energy supply resilience amid the rising LPG consumption typically seen during major religious holidays.

Corporate Secretary of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Roberth MV Dumatubun, emphasised that the company is fully committed to ensuring that the public’s energy needs are optimally met across all regions of Indonesia.

“We are ensuring the additional supply of 3 kg LPG to serve the needs of the public, especially households and micro-business operators, so they can continue their activities comfortably during the long Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr holidays,” said Roberth in a written statement on Sunday (22/3/2026).

Pertamina Patra Niaga is also strengthening distribution and field monitoring to ensure that subsidised LPG distribution reaches the intended recipients. Additionally, 6,300 LPG agents are on standby and operating during the holidays to ensure the public can obtain LPG for cooking.

The public is urged to purchase 3 kg LPG according to its intended use and to buy from official depots to obtain prices in line with government regulations. For users of non-subsidised LPG, Pertamina Patra Niaga is offering various attractive promotions for Bright Gas products. One featured promotion is the exchange of two 3 kg LPG cylinders for one 5.5 kg Bright Gas cylinder for free during the promotional period.

Additionally, customers have the opportunity to receive discounts of up to Rp25,000 for refilling 5.5 kg Bright Gas using the MyPertamina app.

For service convenience, the public can also utilise the Pertamina Delivery Service for Bright Gas through the Pertamina Contact Centre at 135 and the MyPertamina app, allowing orders and deliveries to be made directly to the customer’s location.
