Pertamina Patra Niaga: Additional Services Ready for Peak Lebaran Return Flow
Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Pertamina Patra Niaga has ensured that additional services are ready to accompany the public’s journeys as they enter the peak return flow for Lebaran 2026.
Corporate Secretary of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Roberth MV Dumatubun, stated in Jakarta on Saturday that additional services ranging from Modular SPBUs, Kiosks, and Motorists have been placed on standby along strategic return routes for those heading home.
“We continue to strengthen the readiness of energy services for the public returning from their hometowns. Not only the SPBU network, but we are also providing various additional services to ensure that the public’s journeys remain smooth, safe, and comfortable,” he said.
Nationally, Pertamina is preparing 7,885 SPBUs, with 2,074 of them operating 24 hours, plus 6,777 Pertashops reaching even remote areas.
“SPBUs operating 24 hours are focused on routes with high mobility levels, such as toll roads, tourist routes, and major cross-country paths,” said Roberth.
In addition to serving as fuel filling points, Pertamina SPBUs also function as rest stops with facilities supporting journey comfort, such as prayer rooms, toilets, and rest areas.
To anticipate surges in demand at strategic points, Pertamina Patra Niaga is also introducing additional services in the form of Modular SPBUs and Pertamina Siaga Kiosks.
These services ensure that energy availability is maintained even at crowded points without existing SPBUs, allowing the public to obtain fuel quickly without having to stray far from the main travel routes.
Furthermore, to strengthen field services, Pertamina Patra Niaga is operating 200 units of Pertamina Delivery Service (PDS) Motorists, positioned along main return flow routes.
“This service reaches vehicles that run out of fuel mid-journey, especially at points with high potential for congestion or limited access to SPBUs,” said Roberth.
The public can access the Motorist service through the Pertamina Contact Centre at 135 or the MyPertamina app.
After making a request, the motorist will head to the customer’s location to assist with direct fuel refilling, allowing the journey to continue without interruption.
Roberth emphasised that the optimisation of all these services is carried out comprehensively, both in terms of main infrastructure and additional services.
“Pertamina Patra Niaga ensures that all energy services, from regular SPBUs, Modular SPBUs, Pertamina Siaga Kiosks, to PDS Motorists, can be easily accessed by the public. This is part of our commitment to maintaining the smooth flow of the Lebaran return, so that the public’s journeys remain safe, smooth, and comfortable,” he said.
