Pertamina Partners with Dukcapil to Strengthen Subsidised LPG Beneficiary Data
PT Pertamina Patra Niaga and the Directorate General of Population and Civil Registration (Dukcapil) of the Ministry of Home Affairs have signed a cooperation agreement to grant access and utilise population data for Pertamina Patra Niaga’s services. The signing took place at Graha Pertamina, Jakarta, on Monday (10/8). This collaboration is expected to strengthen the verification and validation process to support more targeted distribution of subsidised energy. The agreement also supports the implementation of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Decree Number 37 of 2023 concerning Technical Guidelines for the Transformation of Targeted LPG Subsidies, serving as the basis for system integration prepared by Pertamina Patra Niaga for NIK validation in the distribution of 3 kg LPG. The agreement was signed by the Director General of Dukcapil, Teguh Setyabudi, and the President Director of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, Mars Ega Legowo Putra. The event was witnessed by the Director General of Oil and Gas at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Laode Sulaeman, and the Director of Logistics & Infrastructure of PT Pertamina (Persero), Jaffee Arizon Suardin. This cooperation strengthens synergy between parties to support more data-driven energy distribution. Mars Ega Legowo Putra stated that this effort is part of Pertamina Patra Niaga’s commitment to strengthening subsidy governance while maintaining energy services for communities across Indonesia. He emphasised the company’s commitment to realising the government’s vision of ensuring energy security through good subsidy governance and ensuring energy services reach people from Sabang to Merauke. Meanwhile, Teguh Setyabudi explained that population data serves as a crucial basis for various public services. As of the first semester of 2026, Indonesia’s population was recorded at approximately 290.1 million people, with nearly 99 per cent of eligible citizens having their biometric data recorded. He expressed appreciation for the cooperation with Pertamina Patra Niaga, hoping that the utilisation of population data will not only support more targeted distribution of subsidised 3 kg LPG but also be used for other needs in supporting Pertamina Patra Niaga’s duties and services. The partnership is expected to support improved energy services that are beneficial to the public.
