Pertamina Outlines Considerations for Pertamax Turbo Price Adjustments

PT Pertamina Patra Niaga is taking global crude oil price movements and the Rupiah exchange rate into account when adjusting non-subsidised fuel prices. These adjustments apply to Pertamax Turbo, Dexlite, and Pertamina Dex, effective from Tuesday (1/9/2026).

In addition to global crude oil prices and the Rupiah exchange rate, pricing is determined based on formulas established by the government. Tax factors and the purchasing power of fuel users are also considered when determining the scale of the adjustment.

“The price adjustment is only applied to some non-subsidised fuel products, namely Pertamax Turbo, Pertamina Dex, and Dexlite, whereas other non-subsidised products such as Pertamax 92 and Pertamax Green 95 do not undergo price adjustments,” said VP of Corporate Communication at Pertamina Patra Niaga, Kitty Andhora, in a press release.

Pertamina Patra Niaga has increased the price of Pertamax Turbo from Rp 18,300 to Rp 19,600 per litre. The price of Dexlite has risen from Rp 19,700 to Rp 23,700 per litre, while Pertamina Dex has increased from Rp 21,150 to Rp 25,200 per litre.
