Pertamina optimises fuel distribution to Bulungan
PT Pertamina Patra Niaga (PPN) Regional Kalimantan is continuing to optimise the distribution of fuel, specifically Pertalite and Pertamax, to several petrol stations in Bulungan Regency, North Kalimantan.
The strengthening of distribution is being carried out to maintain product availability and meet the energy needs of the public.
Edi Mangun, Manager of Communication, Relations & CSR at PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Kalimantan, stated that several fuel tankers had been dispatched since the morning, while other shipments are still en route to their destination petrol stations.
“Pertamina continues to optimise the distribution of Pertalite and Pertamax to Bulungan Regency. Following the shipments made on 1 September, we are once again strengthening distribution to build up stocks at petrol stations and ensure smooth service to the community,” Edi said in Tanjung Selor on Wednesday.
He noted that Pertamina has distributed approximately 80 kilolitres of Pertalite and Pertamax to petrol stations 66.772.04, 63.7anc72.02, 64.772.02, 66.772.01, as well as the distribution agency 6P.772.04 in Bulungan Regency.
Distribution was further reinforced on Wednesday (2/9) through the gradual delivery of more than 200 kilolitres of Pertalite and Pertamax to several petrol stations.
“These shipments are being carried out to build up stock levels and maintain the smoothness of services to the public,” he said.
This reinforcement of distribution follows adjustments to the delivery schedules from the Berau Jobber.
Pertamina has taken operational steps by accelerating the delivery process and reorganising distribution patterns to ensure that supplies are received promptly by each petrol station.
“Tankers have been dispatched gradually since this morning, and some are still in transit to the petrol stations. We continue to monitor the delivery process until the products are received and services to the community return to optimal levels,” Edi explained.
Pertamina is also coordinating with petrol station managers to monitor stock conditions, purchasing activities, and service continuity.
Subsequent distributions will continue to be adjusted according to needs and field operational conditions.
The public is advised to purchase fuel wisely according to their needs and to avoid excessive purchasing.
