Pertamina Optimises Biosolar Distribution in Bengkulu
Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sumbagsel is optimising the distribution of Biosolar in Bengkulu Province by increasing allocations at filling stations experiencing a surge in consumption to meet the needs of the community and the transport sector. “Pertamina continues to take various acceleration measures, from increasing allocations at filling stations with rising consumption, accelerating supply to the Pulau Baai Fuel Terminal, to managing queues by marshals so that the service process can run more orderly and optimally,” said Area Manager Communication, Relations & CSR Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sumbagsel Rusminto Wahyudi via electronic message received in Bengkulu on Saturday. Pertamina acknowledges complaints from some transport drivers regarding queues and waiting times for Biosolar refuelling at several filling stations, influenced by increased consumption and high demand at certain points. As part of the measures to address this situation, the distribution of Biosolar at SPBU 21.391.11 in Kepahiang Regency has been increased to 16 kilolitres per day. Furthermore, Pertamina continues to evaluate the needs at each filling station so that distribution adjustments can be made gradually while ensuring an even supply across all service areas. Pertamina is also anticipating changes in consumption patterns due to fuel distribution arrangements in several areas bordering Bengkulu Province, so distribution is continuously adjusted based on developments in field needs. On the other hand, Pertamina is strengthening supervision of subsidised Biosolar distribution through transaction verification using the QR Code Subsidi Tepat, matching vehicle registration numbers, and monitoring transactions indicated as non-compliant. Vehicles proven to have misused or diverted the fuel will be placed on a negative list, preventing them from conducting further subsidised Biosolar transactions. “This supervision is Pertamina’s commitment to ensuring that subsidised Biosolar is distributed to entitled consumers in accordance with government regulations,” said Rusminto. Pertamina urges the public to purchase fuel according to their needs and the applicable regulations, follow the instructions of officers while in the filling station area, and maintain order during the queuing process so that services can run more smoothly. If the public finds any suspected irregularities in the distribution of subsidised fuel, they can report it to the authorities or through the Pertamina Contact Centre (PCC) 135 for immediate follow-up.
