Pertamina Officially Keeps Fuel Prices Unchanged on 1 April 2026, Here is the List
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - PT Pertamina (Persero) through Pertamina Patra Niaga has officially set the prices for petroleum fuel (BBM) effective from 1 April 2026 at all petrol stations across Indonesia.
In this latest determination, there is no change in prices for all types of BBM, whether subsidised or non-subsidised, even as global oil prices strengthen due to the intensifying conflict in the Middle East stemming from the war between Iran and Israel and the United States (US).
Thus, BBM prices for April 2026 remain the same as the previous period, covering all Pertamax Series and Dex Series products.
“Pertamina Patra Niaga consistently implements government policies, including in the determination of BBM prices,” said Roberth in an official statement on Tuesday night (31/3/2026).
He added that Pertamina continues to take various strategic steps to maintain energy supply stability, from negotiations with suppliers to optimising BBM distribution to all regions.
“We also urge the public to use energy according to their needs and not to be influenced by information that could trigger panic,” said Roberth.
State Secretary Minister, Prasetyo Hadi, stated that the decision was taken after coordination between the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) and Pertamina, based on instructions from President Prabowo Subianto.
“Therefore, Pertamina states that there will be no adjustment to prices for either subsidised BBM or non-subsidised BBM,” said Prasetyo on Tuesday.
He hopes this certainty can provide clear and accurate information to the public, while dampening concerns regarding price increases.
The Palace also assures that domestic BBM stocks are in a safe condition, so the public does not need to panic.
“We hope the public does not need to worry because we guarantee the availability of BBM,” said Prasetyo.
According to him, the government always prioritises public interests in every policy decision.
