Pertamina Offers Free Emissions Testing at 14 Fuel Stations in Greater Jakarta

PT Pertamina Patra Niaga is offering a free emissions testing programme for the public at several fuel stations in the Jabodetabek region through the “Wise Energy Use” campaign. Corporate Secretary of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Roberth MV Dumatubun, stated that the programme is being held in collaboration with the Environmental Agency. It forms part of efforts to encourage public awareness regarding the importance of using quality fuel and maintaining vehicles. “Through this free emissions testing programme, Pertamina Patra Niaga aims to foster public awareness of the importance of maintaining vehicle performance and the quality of emissions produced. We hope this programme will provide tangible benefits to the public in using fuel wisely while supporting a better environment,” he said in his statement in Jakarta on Monday (11/5/2026). According to Roberth, the public simply needs to download the MyPertamina app and show their registered account to participate in the service. In addition to receiving a free emissions testing certificate, consumers also have the chance to obtain a MyPertamina e-voucher worth Rp 25,000 and merchandise on the spot. Roberth said the programme also aims to encourage the public to conduct vehicle checks more routinely. This step is considered important for maintaining engine performance while supporting more responsible energy use. The free emissions testing programme is being held at 14 fuel stations in the Jabodetabek area. The second phase is scheduled for 23-24 May 2026, following the first phase on 9-10 May 2026. “We are targeting 7,000 vehicles in the Jabodetabek region through this emissions testing,” he said. In the first period, the service was available at seven Pertamina fuel station locations. These include SPBU 31.107.01 Sawah Besar in Central Jakarta, SPBU 34.125.08 Jagakarsa in South Jakarta, and SPBU 31.124.02 Fatmawati 2 in South Jakarta. Additionally, SPBU 34.142.01 Boulevard Barat Kelapa Gading in North Jakarta, SPBU 31.137.01 Pasar Rebo in East Jakarta, SPBU 31.117.02 Daan Mogot in West Jakarta, and SPBU 31.153.02 BSD in South Tangerang.
