Pertamina Offers 10 Per Cent Discount on Jet Fuel During Lebaran Season

PT Pertamina (Persero), through its Downstream Subholding PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, has announced a discount on aviation fuel (avtur) purchases to support the smooth mobility of the public during the 2026 Lebaran period.

Corporate Secretary of Pertamina Patra Niaga Roberth MV Dumatubun stated that this policy represents concrete support for the government’s efforts to maintain price stability of airline tickets and ensure that air transport access remains affordable during Lebaran 2026.

“The adjustment consists of providing a 10 per cent discount on aviation fuel prices applicable at 37 airports,” said Roberth in his statement in Jakarta on Thursday, 12 March 2026.

He expressed the hope that this measure would help airlines optimise their operational costs during the peak season of Lebaran. He stated that through this policy, Pertamina Patra Niaga wishes to provide concrete support so that airlines have room for cost efficiency, thereby enabling the public to benefit from more competitive ticket prices during the Lebaran exodus period.

In addition to the price policy, Pertamina Patra Niaga also contributes by ensuring the resilience of national aviation fuel stock in a safe condition with an average of more than 30 days of reserves.

All aviation fuel terminals (AFT) are operating with full standby teams to guarantee smooth distribution and services during the exodus and return flow periods of Lebaran.

“We are committed to ensuring that supplies of aviation energy remain secure so that the public can travel safely, comfortably and smoothly during the moment of togetherness of Eid al-Fitr,” Roberth stated.
