PT Pertamina (Persero) is providing a 10 per cent discount on avtur pricing during the period 14–29 March 2026 at 37 airports managed by Angkasa Pura. This policy forms part of the company’s support for the government’s economic stimulus programme during Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr.

VP Aviation Fuel Business at PT Pertamina (Persero), Yosef Iswadi, stated that the policy resulted from cross-ministerial coordination aimed at ensuring smooth air mobility whilst boosting economic activity during peak travel periods.

“Pertamina was asked to support the economic stimulus during Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr. We are providing a 10 per cent discount on avtur prices during the period 14–29 March at 37 airports across Indonesia,” Yosef said at the Aviation Fuel Terminal (AFT) Halim Perdanakusuma in Jakarta on Wednesday (25/2/2026).

The avtur discount programme continues similar policies implemented during previous Ramadan–Eid al-Fitr and Christmas–New Year periods. The government is encouraging state-owned enterprises to develop this policy into an annual routine programme.

Iswadi explained that the discount does not affect the quality of operational service on the ground. The company continues to maintain reliable aircraft refuelling operations and ensure normal fuel distribution.

“This 10 per cent discount does not reduce service to customers, whether from the perspective of refuelling operations or national avtur stock resilience,” he stated.

In accordance with this policy, Pertamina estimates that avtur consumption during Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr 2026 will increase by approximately 3 per cent compared to normal periods. The increase is driven by additional flight frequencies and increased public mobility during the mudik (holiday migration) season.

To anticipate the surge in demand, Pertamina has activated the Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr Task Force (Satgas RAFI) and prepared national avtur stock reserves at safe levels. The company is also strengthening coordination with airport operators to prepare for potential changes in operating hours extending to 24 hours at several locations.

Operational readiness has also been enhanced across the aviation fuel terminal network, including AFT Halim Perdanakusuma, which serves as one of the primary terminals in West Java. This facility supports commercial flights, military operations, and VVIP flights.

Optimisation of facilities, personnel, and operational systems across all aviation fuel terminals is expected to maintain smooth aviation energy supply during the mudik period. Pertamina is targeting safe and reliable avtur distribution throughout the Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr period.
