Pertamina lowers non-subsidised fuel prices effective 1 July 2026

PT Pertamina (Persero) has officially adjusted the prices of non-subsidised fuels, effective from Wednesday, 1 July 202lag. Under this latest policy, several types of fuel, including Pertamina Dex, Dexlite, and Pertamax Turbo, have experienced significant price decreases.

According to information from Pertamina’s official website, this price reduction is particularly evident in the Greater Jakarta (Jabodetabek) area. The price of Dexlite (CN 51) is now set at Rp19,700 per litre, down from its previous price of Rp23,000 per litre in June 2026. Meanwhile, Pertamina Dex (CN 53) has also undergone a price correction to Rp21,150 per litre from the previous Rp24,800 per litre.

In addition to non-subsidised diesel, high-octane petrol, Pertamax Turbo (RON 98), has also dropped to Rp19,300 per litre from the previous price of Rp20,750 per litre.

On the other hand, Pertamina has decided to maintain the price of Pertamax (RON 92) at the level of Rp16,250 per litre and Pertamax Green (RON 95) at Rp17,000 per litre.

It is noted that both of these products previously experienced a price increase on 10 June 2026, following geopolitical dynamics resulting from the United States-Israel conflict with Iran, which had triggered a surge in global energy prices.

This price adjustment is carried out to implement the Decree of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (Kepmen ESDM) No. 245.K/MG.01/MEM.M/2022, as an amendment to Kepmen No. 62 K/12/MEM.M/2020. This regulation governs the base price formula used in calculating the retail selling price of general fuel types, both petrol and diesel, distributed through Public Fuel Stations (SPBU).

As for assigned and subsidised fuels, namely Pertalite and Biosolar, the government has ensured there are no price changes. Pertalite remains sold at Rp10,000 per litre and Biosolar at Rp6,800 per litre across all regions in Indonesia.
