Pertamina Launches Free Mudik Service for 2026 Return Journey - Check Schedule and Registration Details
PT Pertamina (Persero) has relaunched the Mudik Bareng Pertamina 2026 programme as part of the company’s commitment to supporting smooth public mobility ahead of Eid al-Fitr 1447 H.
The free mudik programme includes return journey facilities and will transport travellers to more than 15 destinations across Java Island.
Registration for Mudik Bareng Pertamina 2026 opens on Tuesday, 3 March 2026 at 10:00 WIT through the official website www.mudikpertamina2026.com.
Muhammad Baron, Vice President of Corporate Communication at Pertamina, stated that the mudik programme is part of the company’s energy initiative for society, providing free, safe and comfortable travel. “Through Mudik Bareng Pertamina 2026, we want to provide energy for good to society who wish to celebrate Eid with their families in their home villages. This is part of Pertamina’s commitment to continue delivering benefits to society to support smooth and safe mudik travel,” Baron said.
Baron further detailed that the mudik departure is scheduled for Sunday, 15 March 2026 from Keong Mas Plaza at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) in Jakarta.
Destination cities include Tasikmalaya, Garut, Cirebon, Purwokerto/Banyumas, Kebumen, Wonosobo/Purworejo, Brebes/Tegal, Pemalang, Cilacap, Pekalongan/Kendal/Semarang, Yogyakarta, Surakarta/Wonogiri, Surabaya, Malang, Ngawi, Madiun and Banyuwangi.
In addition to the mudik facility, Pertamina is providing return journey services centred in four cities: Cirebon, Semarang, Yogyakarta and Surabaya on Saturday, 28 March 2026, with the final destination at Damri Pool Cawang, Jakarta.
Baron added that safety and comfort are the primary priorities in implementing the 2026 mudik programme. “We ensure that all vehicle fleets used meet safety standards and operational fitness requirements,” he said.
