Pertamina launches free homecoming programme for ride-hailing drivers across Java
Jakarta (ANTARA) — PT Pertamina Patra Niaga has organised free homecoming transport for motorcycle taxi (ojek online) drivers to various cities in Central Java and East Java.
Roberth MV Dumatubun, Corporate Secretary of Pertamina Patra Niaga, stated in Jakarta on Monday that the programme was designed to give motorcycle taxi driver partners the opportunity to return to their hometowns safely and comfortably.
“This free homecoming programme is a form of appreciation for our motorcycle taxi driver partners who have been part of the loyal customer ecosystem for Pertamina’s products and MyPertamina services,” said Roberth.
He added that Pertamina Patra Niaga wanted to ensure that motorcycle taxi driver partners could also enjoy moments of togetherness with their families during Eid al-Fitr.
“We want our motorcycle taxi driver partners to feel the joy of gathering with family in their hometowns during Eid al-Fitr,” he continued.
Participants departed on Saturday (15 March) from Plaza Keong Mas TMII Jakarta, heading to several cities in Central and East Java, including Pekalongan, Kendal, Semarang, Surakarta, Wonogiri, Kebumen, and Surabaya.
“With the available routes, we hope the homecoming participants can reach various destinations with safer and more comfortable travel,” explained Roberth.
Several participants in the Free Homecoming Together with MyPertamina programme said they were helped by the initiative, particularly the motorcycle taxi driver partners and their families who wanted to return to their hometowns during Eid al-Fitr.
“I got the information from a friend who sent me the registration link, and the process was very easy. I’m going home with my family, a total of four people heading to Kebumen, Central Java,” said Hendri, who travelled with his family.
