Pertamina Launches Free Emissions Testing in Jabodetabek, Targeting 7,000 Vehicles

JAKARTA - PT Pertamina Patra Niaga is providing free emissions testing services at 14 fuel stations spread across the Jabodetabek region. This free emissions testing programme targets 7,000 vehicles.

The programme, part of the “Wise Energy Use” campaign, will be conducted in two phases: 9-10 May 2026 and 23-24 May 2026.

Corporate Secretary of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Roberth MV Dumatubun, stated that through this programme, the company aims to encourage the public to check their vehicles more routinely as a simple step in maintaining engine performance and supporting more responsible energy use.

“We hope this programme can provide real benefits to the public in using fuel wisely while supporting the creation of a better environment,” he said in a written statement on Monday (11/5/2026).

In addition to receiving free emissions test certificates, participants in this service also have the opportunity to obtain MyPertamina e-vouchers worth Rp25,000 and attractive merchandise directly.

In detail, the free emissions testing programme will be held on 9-10 May 2026 (Phase I) and 23-24 May 2026 (Phase II), targeting 7,000 vehicles in the Jabodetabek region.

In Phase I, the free emissions testing programme was conducted at 7 Pertamina fuel station locations with services open from 09:00 WIB to 21:00 WIB.

One Pertamina Dex customer, Andi from Bintaro, participated in the free emissions testing held at the COCO BSD City fuel station.

According to him, using quality fuel has an impact on vehicle performance as well as better emissions results.

“With this quality fuel, the emissions test results just now proved to be very good, because with Dex, it’s already noticeable and proven to be more fuel-efficient,” he said.
