The digital library facility was launched as part of Pertamina MindFUEL’s ‘The Energy to Elevate’ event held at Grha Pertamina in Jakarta last Monday, 25 May 2026. Concurrently, the Pertamina Book Club (BoomTalk@Works) and Literacy Agent (LiteraSquad) were inaugurated.

Senior Vice President of Pertamina Corporate University, Robby Rafid stated that the programme is the company’s ongoing commitment to boost self-learning culture and competencies among its officers (the term used for Pertamina employees).

‘Literacy improvement is crucial amid the company’s current new dynamics. Reading is expected to become a new source of energy for the officers,’ Robby said in a statement on Wednesday, 27 May 2026.

Through this digital ecosystem, employees can now easily access various literature during work breaks or rest periods.

Yulius Bulo, VP of Learning Development at Pertamina Corporate University, added that this move is part of the corporation’s internal knowledge management. Strategic documents have now been converted into digital collections.

‘This ecosystem is expected to strengthen officers’ literacy development,’ Yulius explained.

Meanwhile, VP of Corporate Communication at PT Pertamina (Persero), Muhammad Baron stressed the importance of knowledge asset digitisation for sustaining the company’s innovation, which has existed for over six decades.

‘All large organisations have knowledge assets. But those assets are useless if they cannot be accessed and learned from. That is why Pertamina has introduced Tugu PertaLibs,’ Baron stated.
