Pertamina JBB Ensures Uninterrupted Fuel and LPG Supply During Idul Adha
PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Jawa Bagian Barat (JBB) ensures the distribution of petroleum products (BBM) and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) in the Jakarta Special Capital Region, West Java, and Banten remains secure and smooth ahead of the 1447 Hijriah Idul Adha holiday.
Area Manager for Communication, Relations & CSR at Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional JBB, Susanto August Satria, stated the company has prepared anticipatory measures to maintain energy supply continuity during the Idul Adha period and extended holidays.
βTo anticipate demand surges, we continuously monitor on-ground consumption patterns and prepare community demand projections. Should the need arise, we are ready to increase BBM and LPG distribution as required,β Satria said in a statement.
He added that supply security measures include stockpiling and on-site inspections of distribution infrastructure reliability.
Pertamina confirmed all public fuel stations (SPBU), agents, and LPG depots in the JBB region are operating optimally to ensure uninterrupted energy distribution to the public.
Between 26 May and 1 June 2026, gasoline products such as Pertalite, Pertamax, Pertamax Green, and Pertamax Turbo are projected to see a 2.81% rise in consumption compared to normal levels.
Meanwhile, diesel products like Biosolar, Dexlite, and Pertamina Dex are expected to increase by 1.64%, while LPG consumption is forecasted to rise by 3.86%.
Despite the projected consumption increases, Pertamina assured that energy stocks in the JBB region remain sufficient to meet public demand during Idul Adha.
Additionally, Pertamina is strengthening coordination with local governments and law enforcement agencies to monitor the distribution of subsidized BBM and LPG to ensure they reach the intended beneficiaries.
Pertamina urged the public to use 3kg LPG and subsidized fuel in accordance with regulations and intended purposes to ensure equitable access for eligible citizens.
