Pertamina introduces fuel station for fishermen in South Aceh
Banda Aceh (ANTARA) - Pertamina Patra Niaga has introduced a public fuel filling station (SPBU) for fishermen in South Aceh Regency to realise uniform energy pricing throughout Indonesia.
Regional Marketing Director of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, Eko Ricky Susanto, in South Aceh on Tuesday, stated that the presence of the fishermen’s SPBU is part of the commitment to distribute energy to the remotest parts of the country.
“We remain committed to distributing energy to the remotest parts of the country. We know this is to run the economy in the nation. Energy is a need for Indonesian society,” said Eko Ricky Susanto.
The statement was delivered by Eko Ricky Susanto at the inauguration of the Fishermen’s SPBU and Uniform Price Fuel in Bakongan Timur Subdistrict, South Aceh Regency.
According to him, this commitment to distribute energy to remote areas also supports the programme of Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto, namely the Red White Fishermen’s Village. This support includes providing SPBUs for fishermen.
He said the inauguration of the Fishermen’s SPBU is a manifestation of Pertamina’s commitment to realising energy justice for society, especially in underdeveloped, frontier, and outermost areas or 3T regions.
Eko Ricky Susanto mentioned that with the inauguration of this Fishermen’s SPBU, there are now six Fishermen’s SPBUs in South Aceh Regency. Meanwhile, in Aceh Province, there are 4 Fishermen’s SPBUs as part of the 416 Fishermen’s SPBUs across Indonesia.
“In line with the President’s directive, all remote parts of the country must receive energy in the form of uniform-price solar and Pertalite intended for coastal communities and 3T regions,” said Eko Ricky Susanto.
South Aceh Regent Mirwan MS expressed appreciation and thanks to Pertamina and all related parties for realising the Fishermen’s SPBU with Uniform Price Fuel for the community in South Aceh Regency.
“We express our thanks to Pertamina for committing to provide convenience for the community in obtaining uniform-price fuel as a form of progress,” said Mirwan MS.
