Pertamina Inspects Padalarang Fuel Terminal, Ensures Fuel and LPG Stocks Safe During Eid al-Fitr 2026
PT Pertamina (Persero) has reaffirmed its readiness to serve the energy requirements of Indonesian society during the Eid al-Fitr 2026 holiday period.
This commitment was reinforced through a working visit by the Deputy Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (Wamen ESDM) to the Padalarang Fuel Terminal of Bandung Grup to ensure the readiness of energy distribution infrastructure and facilities in the strategic West Java region.
The Deputy Minister’s visit formed part of the 2026 national monitoring post for Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr by the Energy and Mineral Resources sector, aimed at guaranteeing energy availability for society undertaking homecoming travel and tourism during the Eid al-Fitr holiday period.
During the visit, the Deputy Minister appreciated Pertamina’s proactive measures in maintaining stock resilience. The Padalarang Fuel Terminal plays a crucial role as a primary support for fuel and LPG distribution to the Bandung metropolitan area and surrounding regions, which are predicted to experience surging consumption during the homecoming period.
Taufik Aditiyawarman, Deputy Director General of Pertamina Patra Niaga, stated that coordination between Pertamina as an energy enterprise and the government is conducted intensively to guarantee energy supply availability for society, particularly during major celebrations and national holidays, including Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr.
Taufik added that to ensure the smooth distribution of energy and supply availability, Pertamina has activated the Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr Task Force since 9 March 2026. This team operates by conducting regular energy distribution monitoring and coordinating with the national command post of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.
Nationally, Pertamina has prepared substantial energy distribution infrastructure to address Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr. This infrastructure comprises 2,420 fuel stations (SPBU) operating 24 hours, and 6,300 standby LPG agents spread across various regions.
“Additionally, there are 200 fuel tanker vehicles on standby as emergency supply reserves, as well as Pertamina Emergency Fuel and Kiosk services at 64 locations,” Taufik continued in a statement on Tuesday, 17 March 2026.
Specifically for the western Java region (West Java, Jakarta and Banten), Pertamina has also prepared various supplementary services distributed along toll routes, tourist destination routes, and main transit routes. These services include 427 24-hour fuel stations, 2,180 standby LPG agents, and 206 bulk LPG filling stations (SPBE).
To manage energy distribution during congested traffic conditions, in West Java Pertamina has also deployed 52 Pertamina Delivery Service (PDS) units using motorcycles, 563 Bright Gas agents, and 62 fuel tanker vehicles ready to support energy distribution should demand surge. To serve homecoming travellers, Pertamina has also prepared 11 Serambi MyPertamina service points at several strategic locations.
Muhammad Baron, Vice President of Corporate Communication at Pertamina, stated that the Deputy Minister’s visit represented an opportunity to ensure that Pertamina’s entire distribution system is 100 per cent prepared.
Pertamina has increased energy stock supplies to anticipate increased consumption during the Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr periods, particularly during the homecoming and return travel flows.
Baron added that Pertamina utilises digital technology to monitor distribution in real time. Monitoring is conducted rigorously to ensure there are no stock shortages on congested routes.
In line with the government’s appeal, the public is urged to use energy wisely during homecoming travel and Eid al-Fitr holidays.
“We continue to endeavour to ensure that energy is always present to accompany society in celebrating victory on Eid al-Fitr. Happy homecoming and a safe and comfortable Eid al-Fitr 2026 holiday,” concluded Baron.
