PT Pertamina Patra Niaga has clarified that information circulating on social media, spread through a video caption on the link from the account https://vt.tiktok.com/ZSHg8QpF8/, regarding fees for registering 3kg subsidised LPG depots and sub-depots is untrue or a hoax and misleading. Corporate Secretary of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Roberth MV Dumatubun, confirmed that 3kg LPG is a government-subsidised product intended for underprivileged communities, with its distribution following government policies and targeted subsidy mechanisms. “3kg LPG is a subsidised product whose distribution is regulated by the government through a quota system, so it must be ensured to reach the rightful recipients,” he stated in his comments in Jakarta on Tuesday (14/4/2026). Roberth urged the public to be more vigilant against misleading information demanding payments in the name of Pertamina or Pertamina Patra Niaga via various communication platforms, including social media, which may resemble official or fake accounts like the one in the given link. “We emphasise that registration to become a 3kg subsidised LPG depot is free of charge. Information mentioning certain fees is untrue and does not come from Pertamina or Pertamina Patra Niaga. That account, namely the TikTok social media platform account @pertaminagas3kg_lpg, is not an official account. It attempts to resemble the company’s account and seeks to provide misleading information to the public,” Roberth explained.
