Jakarta – Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Papua Maluku has increased kerosene supplies by 1.3 million litres to several regions in Papua and Maluku to maintain household energy availability ahead of Eid al-Fitr.

The additional supplies are distributed to six provinces to ensure kerosene demand remains met during the Ramadan period and ahead of the festive occasion.

“This additional distribution has been coordinated with local regional governments to ensure the subsidised kerosene is allocated appropriately and beneficially for the community,” said Executive General Manager of Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Papua Maluku Awan Raharjo on Monday (16 March 2026).

“This represents our commitment to provide wholehearted service during the Holy Month of Ramadan and ahead of Eid al-Fitr,” he added.

Papua Province received an additional 130,000 litres of kerosene. Southwest Papua Province obtained an additional 125,000 litres, whilst West Papua Province received an additional 50,000 litres.

Central Papua Province received an additional supply of 64,000 litres of kerosene.

In the Maluku region, additional supplies were also provided to two provinces. North Maluku Province received an additional 376,000 litres, whilst Maluku Province obtained an additional supply of 580,000 litres.

“All additional kerosene sales will be conducted directly at kerosene depots and we ensure sales comply with the maximum retail price or HET determined by the regional government,” he said.

He added that kerosene stocks continue to be maintained during the Ramadan and Eid period, from BBM terminals to agent and depot levels.

“The community need not worry about purchasing kerosene according to their needs,” said Awan.

“We will continue to maintain kerosene availability for the community and conduct regular inspections together with relevant agencies and regional governments to ensure actual field conditions,” he concluded.
