Pertamina Increases LPG 3kg Supply Ahead of Eid al-Adha Long Holiday

PT Pertamina Patra Niaga has increased the supply of 9 million 3kg LPG cylinders nationwide to meet public demand during the Eid al-Adha 1447 Hijriyah long holiday. Corporate Secretary Roberth MV Dumatubun said the additional cylinders would be distributed gradually across Indonesia, considering consumption trends and anticipated higher demand.

He stated this increase is part of Pertamina Patra Niaga’s commitment to maintaining stock resilience and ensuring smooth energy distribution, particularly for subsidized LPG for eligible citizens.

“Pertamina Patra Niaga has increased the nationwide supply of 3kg LPG cylinders by nine million during the Eid al-Adha holiday period. This is to anticipate higher public demand while ensuring subsidized LPG remains available and accessible,” Roberth said in a written statement on Thursday, 28 May 2026.

He added that the company continues to coordinate with local governments, Hiswana Migas, agents, and LPG distribution points to ensure optimal and targeted distribution.

“We urge the public to purchase 3kg LPG from official Pertamina distribution points, as stock is guaranteed to be available in line with the government-set maximum retail price (HET). We also advise citizens to buy according to their needs and avoid panic buying,” he added.

In addition to increasing supply, Pertamina Patra Niaga is closely monitoring LPG distribution and deploying services during the holiday period to ensure public energy needs are met.
