Pertamina Increases 9 Million 3kg LPG Cylinders Nationwide

JAKARTA, CNBC Indonesia - PT Pertamina Patra Niaga has increased nationwide distribution of 9 million 3kg LPG cylinders during the extended Iduladha holiday period to ensure public energy needs are met. The additional 3kg LPG cylinders are being distributed gradually across Indonesia, taking into account consumption trends and expected higher demand during the holiday.

PT Pertamina Patra Niaga’s Corporate Secretary, Roberth MV. Dumatubun, stated that this increased distribution is part of the company’s commitment to maintaining stock resilience and smooth energy distribution, particularly for subsidized LPG for eligible citizens.

“Pertamina Patra Niaga has increased nationwide 3kg LPG cylinder supply by 9 million during the extended Iduladha holiday period. This measure is to anticipate higher public demand while ensuring subsidized LPG remains available and accessible,” Roberth said in a press release on Friday, 29 May 2026.

He added that Pertamina Patra Niaga continues to coordinate with local governments, Hiswana Migas, agents, and LPG distribution points to ensure optimal and targeted distribution.

“We urge the public to purchase 3kg LPG from official Pertamina outlets, as stock is guaranteed to be available in line with the government-set Maximum Retail Price (HET). Consumers are also advised to buy according to their needs and avoid panic buying,” he added.

In addition to the supply increase, Pertamina Patra Niaga is conducting intensive monitoring of LPG distribution and has deployed standby services during the holiday period to ensure public energy needs are met.
