JAKARTA - PT Pertamina (Persero) is not raising the prices of Pertamax and Pertamax Green 95 fuels as of 4 May 2026. The price of Pertamax remains at Rp 12,300 per litre. Pertamax Green 95 remains at Rp 12,900 per litre.

Several other non-subsidised fuels are experiencing increases. Dexlite rises to Rp 26,000 per litre from Rp 23,600. Pertamina Dex rises to Rp 27,900 per litre from Rp 23,900. Pertamax Turbo rises to Rp 19,900 per litre from Rp 19,400.

Corporate Secretary of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Roberth MV Dumatubun, stated that the price adjustment follows market mechanisms. The company refers to global crude oil prices, international refined product prices, and rupiah exchange rate movements.

Roberth emphasised that price setting also considers societal conditions and purchasing power.

“As a state-owned enterprise carrying out the state’s strategic mandate, Pertamina does not only consider business aspects but also pays attention to current societal conditions, the purchasing power of customers using non-subsidised fuels, and national stability,” said Roberth.

Non-subsidised fuels are intended for market-following segments. The company maintains measured pricing policies in line with societal conditions.

“Pertamina, as an extension of the government, helps maintain and realise conducive conditions with price adjustments that remain competitive compared to other business entities. Therefore, not all products are adjusted; some are maintained to remain competitive and relevant to societal needs,” he explained.
