Pertamina Has Supplied 33,347 LPG Cylinders to 966 KDKMP Outlets
Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Aminuddin Ma’ruf, Deputy Head of the State-Owned Enterprises Regulatory Agency (BP BUMN), visited the Koperasi Desa/Kelurahan Merah Putih (KDKMP) outlet in Meruya Selatan, West Jakarta, on Thursday (15 October). The visit was to observe first-hand the cooperatives’ role in meeting community needs and developing economic potential at village and urban-village level.
KDKMP outlets sell not only everyday necessities and products from nearby micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), but also provide energy services through LPG supplied by PT Pertamina Patra Niaga. Offering LPG at KDKMP outlets broadens the range of goods available to local communities and strengthens the cooperatives’ role as community-based economic service centres.
“Besides selling everyday necessities, the Meruya Selatan urban-village cooperative also provides space to market products from nearby MSMEs. Its prices are relatively lower than those at other shops,” Aminuddin said in a press release on Friday (16 October 2026).
In addition to the visit to KDKMP Meruya, the delegation visited five other sites in Jakarta and Banten: KDKMP Cakung Timur, KDKMP Cipedak, KDKMP Bintaro, KDKMP Pondok Aren and KDKMP Meruya Timur.
The visits were attended by Tenny Elfrida, Pertamina Patra Niaga’s Director of Transformation, Digitalisation and Sustainability, and Putut Andriatno, its Director of Business Support.
Tenny said Pertamina Patra Niaga supports KDKMP by supplying LPG products to its outlets as part of efforts to strengthen the energy distribution network in line with regulations and government directives. The support includes supplying both Bright Gas cylinders and 3kg LPG through the KDKMP outlet network.
“Today, KDKMP outlets are present in almost all regions nationwide. About 33,347 LPG cylinders have been distributed through the KDKMP network, and we hope it will continue to grow to meet the community’s energy needs,” Tenny said.
As of October 2026, 966 KDKMP cooperatives had become 3kg LPG outlets. The supply is supported by 285 distribution agents that deliver 3kg LPG to KDKMP outlets.
The collaboration between BP BUMN, KDKMP and Pertamina Patra Niaga shows how cooperatives can serve a broader purpose as centres of local economic activity. Alongside opening market access for MSME products, KDKMP brings energy supplies closer to communities by making LPG available at urban-village level.
With professional management and support from various parties, KDKMP is expected to continue developing as a driver of community-based economic growth and to deliver direct benefits to the public.
