Pertamina guarantees BDKT standard applied at 753 SPBE facilities across Indonesia
Bandung Barat (ANTARA) - PT Pertamina Patra Niaga has guaranteed that 753 LPG Filling and Bulk Transport Stations (SPBE) throughout Indonesia have applied the Goods in Sealed Packaging (BDKT) standard in the LPG filling process.
Director of Retail Marketing at Pertamina Patra Niaga, Eko Ricky, said in a statement received in Bandung Barat on Tuesday that the standard applies to SPBEs serving both subsidised and non-subsidised LPG filling.
“We ensure that every LPG cylinder received by the public has the correct quantity and quality in accordance with standards. Currently, 753 LPG-filling SPBEs, both subsidised (PSO) and non-subsidised, across Indonesia have implemented the BDKT standard 100 percent,” he said.
He said the implementation of the BDKT standard forms part of the company’s efforts to maintain operational standards in the LPG filling process while ensuring that products distributed to the public comply with prevailing regulations.
Eko said Pertamina Patra Niaga continues to carry out regular socialisation, checks and operational supervision to maintain the quality and safety of LPG from provision through to distribution.
In its implementation, Pertamina Patra Niaga is working in synergy with a number of stakeholders, including central and regional governments, to support operational oversight of LPG in the field.
“We express our highest appreciation to the Ministry of Trade, particularly the Directorate of Metrology and the relevant regional agencies, which have collaborated intensively in accompanying our operational supervision in the field. We are committed to providing the best service, both in terms of the quantity and quality of LPG products,” he said.
Meanwhile, Acting Executive General Manager of Pertamina Patra Niaga’s West Java Region, Tiara Thesaufi Harisoesatyo, said the company is ensuring the availability and smooth distribution of LPG, particularly in West Java.
