Pertamina: Fuel and LPG Supply Safe and Available Throughout West Java Until After Eid 2026

PT Pertamina has announced that fuel and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) supplies in West Java are safe, sufficient, and available for the Eid holiday travel season in 2026 and beyond. The company has urged the public not to engage in panic buying.

Susanto August Satria, Area Manager of Communication, Relations and Corporate Social Responsibility for the JBB Regional office, stated that BBM and LPG stocks are in a secure, adequate, and available condition, and therefore the public should not resort to panic buying.

“I can confirm that fuel and LPG stocks are in a safe, sufficient, and available state. The public does not need to engage in panic buying,” he said on Tuesday (10 March 2026).

He called on the public to be more careful and diligent in verifying news reports that could be hoaxes. Satria stated that there is no disruption to supplies through the Strait of Hormuz as a result of the Iran-Israel-America conflict.

“I can assure you that there is no supply disruption,” he said.

He noted that oil tankers do not travel only through the Middle East. Satria acknowledged that one or two ships have been detained at the Strait of Hormuz, but hundreds continue to operate safely.

“There are still around hundreds of ships sailing safely and reaching Indonesia,” he said.

He urged the public not to worry, as there is no supply disruption. The company guarantees that fuel and LPG supplies will remain secure during and after the holiday period.

“Even if someone says stocks will last for a certain number of days, that is not dead stock—it is not static inventory—so it does not mean a countdown to depletion, but rather a moving stock that will be continuously replenished every day,” he said.

He appealed to the public not to engage in panic buying, as everything has been prepared, including other energy services.
