Pertamina Fleet Docks in Ampenan to Supply 3,000 KL of B40

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Pertamina Patra Niaga’s tanker fleet has once again docked at Ampenan Port in West Nusa Tenggara, with a total cargo of 6,000 kilolitres (KL), comprising 3,000 KL of Pertalite and 3,000 KL of B40 fuel. “Every ship that docks at Ampenan has a strategic role in ensuring that energy is available on time and equitably,” said Corporate Secretary of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Roberth M.V. Dumatubun, in a statement received in Jakarta on Thursday. The Pertamina tanker docked at Ampenan Port to strengthen energy supplies in the NTB region and surrounding areas. Pertalite and B40 are supplied to meet the needs of the community, the transportation sector, and industrial activities in the southern archipelago. “Through the fleet that operates routinely, Pertamina Patra Niaga maintains the continuity of fuel distribution so that the needs of the community in the southern archipelago remain fulfilled,” he said. The arrival of the tanker Transko Antasena is part of the strategic national energy distribution chain, given that Ampenan is one of the key nodes for fuel distribution in the Nusa Tenggara region. From this terminal, energy supplies are further distributed to various districts and cities on Lombok Island and surrounding areas, to support the needs of thousands of consumers every day. Roberth stated that the sea fleet plays an important role in maintaining the stability of national energy supplies, especially in island regions that rely on distribution via sea routes. As an archipelagic country, Indonesia relies on tankers as a link in energy distribution between supply terminals and areas not reached by land pipelines. In NTB, sea routes are the main means of ensuring the reliability of energy supplies, especially for islands that depend on maritime connectivity. With a routine delivery frequency of more than 30 voyages per month to the NTB region, Pertamina Patra Niaga continues to keep energy distribution running safely, efficiently, and sustainably, while supporting community economic activities and regional growth.
