Pertamina finds oil in West Java

JAKARTA :State oil and gas firm Pertamina announced on Thursday the discovery of an oil and gas reserve in Subang regency, West Java province.

Pertamina said in a statement that the reserve was found after the company's exploratory drilling at the Tunggul Maung No.2 exploration well from Nov. 2 to Dec.16 last year.

The well could produce 1,558 barrels of oil per day (bpd), 4.53 million cubic feet per day (mmcfd) to 12.23 mmcfd of gas and 66.5 barrels of condensate per day, it added. -JP
