PT Pertamina EP has signed two Gas Sale and Purchase Agreements (GSPAs) with PT Cikarang Listrindo and PT Pertamina Hulu Rokan (PHR) as part of the Indonesia Petroleum Association Convention & Exhibition 2026 at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD in South Tangerang on Wednesday, 20 May 2026.
The signing was conducted by Rachmat Hidajat, Chief Executive of Pertamina EP, along with Yudho Pratikto, Director of PT Cikarang Listrindo, and Muhamad Arifin, Chief Executive of PT Pertamina Hulu Rokan.
The gas sale and purchase agreement with PT Cikarang Listrindo is valid until 16 September 2035. The gas will be used to support meeting the industrial demand in the West Java region.
Separately, Pertamina EP also signed a GSPAs with PT Pertamina Hulu Rokan to support the production and operations of oil and gas in the Rokan Working Area, Province of Riau. The agreement with PHR is valid until 31 December 2030 with a total volume of 35 trillion British Thermal Units (TBtu).
‘This long-term agreement is expected to provide energy supply certainty and to positively contribute to the competitiveness of industry in West Java, as well as support regional economic growth,’ said Rachmat in a statement on Wednesday.
Through these two agreements, Pertamina EP also ensures the state’s take from gas sales from the company’s working areas in Java and Sumatra. Additionally, the collaboration is described as part of efforts to strengthen energy resilience and national energy sovereignty.
