This programme is aimed at encouraging social empowerment while supporting the transition to sustainable practices.

Meanwhile, Pertamina EP Tambun Field is developing the Kapukita programme, an innovation using natural materials for oil spill control.

This programme involves the community in environmental management processes and forms part of efforts to improve more environmentally friendly operational performance.

In addition to Kapukita, Tambun Field is also running the Local Food Innovation Programme for Global Sustainability, which emphasises strengthening the community’s role in the local food system.

Furthermore, there is the Tapak Lelea programme, which promotes the preservation of cultural heritage as part of inclusive and sustainable indigenous community development.
