Pertamina EP Cepu Reinforces Energy Transition Commitment, Reveals 2025 Performance Growth
PT Pertamina EP Cepu (PEPC) has once again demonstrated its consistency as a leading upstream oil and gas entity in supporting national energy security. During its 2025 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (RUPS), the company presented its performance achievements throughout 2025 while setting its strategic direction for the future.
President Director of PT Pertamina EP Cepu, Ruby Mulyawan, detailed that throughout 2025, PEPC recorded oil production of 70,035 MBOPD and gas production of 299.5 MMSCFD, with total oil and gas lifting reaching 94,349 BOEPD. On the environmental front, the company successfully realised emission reductions of 13.19 Kilo Tonnes of CO₂e — all achievements surpassing the set targets.
Financially, PEPC recorded a positive profit, reflecting the solid fundamentals of the company’s business. Entering 2026, the company is targeting more aggressive oil and gas lifting growth, supported by accelerated field development.
Equally impressive achievements came from the occupational safety sector. From 2017 to 2025, PEPC successfully recorded 70,111,623 Safe Working Hours, an extraordinary accomplishment proving that the HSSE (Health, Safety, Security & Environment) culture is deeply embedded across all operational lines of the company. This figure is not merely a statistic, but a tangible reflection of the commitment of every PEPC officer to return home safely each day.
“This year’s achievements are the result of the hard work of all PEPC employees who have been able to adapt to every dynamic change that has occurred. This is proof that our organisational resilience is not only measured by production figures, but by our ability to keep moving forward amidst challenges,” said Ruby Mulyawan.

Not only focused on oil and gas operations, PEPC is also committed to implementing CSR programmes in the form of community empowerment targeting various aspects of community life. In the economic sector, the Young Independent Entrepreneurs and Upgraded MSMEs programmes encourage local business independence and capacity, involving 15 fostered partner groups with a total of 3,636 beneficiaries.
