JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com — PT Pertamina (Persero) through Pertamina Patra Niaga reviewed energy distribution readiness in West Java. The review was conducted alongside Deputy Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Yuliot Tanjung on Monday (16/3/2026). The inspection covered the Bandung Group Padalarang Fuel Terminal and LPG transportation facilities to ensure that fuel and LPG distribution remains smooth. Yuliot stated that this step is part of efforts to maintain energy services during Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr. According to him, Pertamina’s preparations make the government optimistic that fuel availability will remain secure until the mudik and return flows. “This is part of how we provide the best service to the public, especially in terms of energy provision,” Yuliot said in a written statement on Wednesday (18/3/2026). This step is taken to keep energy distribution stable during the mudik period. Pertamina has prepared 2,420 SPBU operating 24 hours. In addition, there are 6,300 standby LPG agents in various areas. The company also prepared 200 fuel tankers as reserve supplies. Additional services are prepared through Pertamina Siaga Fuel and Kiosks at 64 locations. “To anticipate Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr, the task force has been activated since 9 March and we continue to coordinate with the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources,” said Taufik. Specifically in the Western Java region, Pertamina has added services on toll roads, tourist routes, and main routes. A total of 427 SPBU operating 24 hours, 2,180 standby LPG agents, and 206 SPBE are prepared in this region. Pertamina also readies additional services to address potential congestion. In West Java, there are 52 units of Pertamina Delivery Service using motorcycles.
