Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional East Java, Bali, and Nusa Tenggara (Jatimbalinus) has confirmed that jet fuel (avtur) supplies will be sufficient to meet aviation requirements across 15 airports during both the outbound and return travel periods for Eid al-Fitr 2026.

“We are ensuring avtur supplies for aviation requirements across 15 airports distributed throughout East Java, Bali, and Nusa Tenggara,” stated Ahad Rahedi, Area Manager for Communication, Relations and Corporate Social Responsibility at Jatimbalinus, in Surabaya on Monday.

Pertamina forecasts that peak passenger mobility will occur across four distinct phases: two outbound travel peaks and two return travel peaks. Outbound travel is expected during 14-15 March 2026 and 18-19 March 2026, whilst return travel is anticipated during 24-25 March 2026 and 28-29 March 2026.

This pattern is attributed to the absence of commercial flights during the Nyepi religious observance at Ngurah Rai Airport and flight cancellations on Middle Eastern routes.

Avtur consumption in East Java is projected to increase by 4.9 per cent from an average daily rate of 825 kilolitres per day, whilst consumption in Bali is forecast to decline by 10.3 per cent from an average daily rate of 2,078 kilolitres per day.

Avtur consumption in West Nusa Tenggara is estimated to rise by 1.5 per cent from an average daily rate of 104 kilolitres per day, whilst consumption in East Nusa Tenggara is projected to increase by 3.6 per cent from an average daily rate of 107 kilolitres per day.
