Pertamina Ensures Fuel and LPG Supply Is Secure During Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr 2026
Jakarta – PT Pertamina (Persero), through Pertamina Patra Niaga, has assured that the supply of energy—namely fuel and LPG—is secure and able to meet public needs throughout Ramadan up to the approach of Eid al-Fitr.
As an anticipation against potential increases in energy consumption during this period, Pertamina Patra Niaga has taken various steps to strengthen service, including stock build-up and ensuring the readiness of distribution facilities and infrastructure. These measures aim to ensure that energy distribution to the public can run smoothly, safely, and measurably.
Furthermore, Pertamina Patra Niaga continues to implement mitigation measures to safeguard energy supply resilience, including optimising distribution to meet community needs across all operational regions.
These efforts are carried out through intensive monitoring and ongoing mitigation to maintain supply stability by applying a Regular, Alternative, and Emergency (RAE) distribution pattern, ensuring energy distribution remains steady under various conditions.
Roberth MV Dumatubun, Corporate Secretary of Pertamina Patra Niaga, said the public should not worry about energy availability during Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr.
‘Pertamina Patra Niaga continues to ensure the availability of fuel and LPG for the people. We have taken a range of anticipatory steps, from stock build-up and strengthening distribution facilities, to intensive coordination with all relevant stakeholders—from the government through the related ministries, embassies and overseas representatives, business partners, to international partners among fellow state-owned enterprises, to ensure the distribution monitoring system runs optimally,’ said Roberth in a press release on Friday (6 March 2026).
To support faster and more accurate monitoring of energy distribution, Pertamina Patra Niaga also utilises digitalisation systems such as the Pertamina Digital Hub, enabling real-time oversight of energy distribution from upstream to downstream.
Pertamina Patra Niaga also urges the public to use energy prudently, efficiently, and in accordance with needs. The public should not engage in excessive purchases, because energy stocks are safeguarded with a measured distribution pattern.
Do not Hoard Fuel and LPG
Additionally, the public is reminded not to hoard fuel or LPG, as such actions contravene applicable regulations and carry legal consequences.
During the homeward-bound period of Lebaran and return journeys, Pertamina Patra Niaga will offer various additional services for the public, such as Serambi MyPertamina at strategic points along the homeward routes as a comfortable rest place for travellers, with free facilities available to the public simply by downloading the MyPertamina app.
Pertamina Patra Niaga will also present various discounts on fuel and LPG purchases via the MyPertamina app to help travellers travel more comfortably and economically.
