Pertamina Ensures Fuel Distribution and Stock Availability at Petrol Stations
Pertamina Patra Niaga continues to ensure the community’s energy needs are met by optimising fuel distribution across Indonesia. VP Corporate Communication of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Kitty Andhora, stated that nationally, the fuel supply at Pertamina Patra Niaga’s Fuel Terminals is available and sufficient. ‘Pertamina Patra Niaga continuously monitors fuel supply and distribution conditions in real time across all operational areas. Nationally, stocks are available, and we continue to optimise distribution so that the community’s needs can be properly fulfilled,’ said Kitty. Kitty explained that the phenomenon of queues is not caused by limited stock. Various operational measures have been taken by Pertamina Patra Niaga to anticipate dynamic conditions in areas experiencing increased demand, including: Operating Fuel Terminals 24 hours a day in high-demand areas to ensure the process of receiving, preparing, and distributing fuel runs without interruption. Adding tanker truck fleets in areas with increased needs to accelerate distribution to petrol stations. Adjusting tanker truck operation patterns so that deliveries are made earlier, ensuring fuel supplies arrive at petrol stations before the start of morning activities. Managing vehicle entry lanes at petrol stations together with managers and local authorities to maintain smooth public access and traffic flow. Implementing continuous supply pattern monitoring, including the Regular, Alternative, and Emergency (RAE) supply patterns, tailored to the conditions in each region. In addition to ensuring supply availability, Pertamina Patra Niaga urges the public to use fuel wisely according to their needs and to purchase products according to their intended use. The public is also expected not to make excessive purchases (panic buying) because distribution continues to run. ‘We will continue to optimise distribution in all regions, especially in areas experiencing increased needs. We invite the public to remain calm, buy fuel as needed, and together support targeted fuel distribution so that the energy needs of the entire community can continue to be met,’ concluded Kitty.
