Pertamina Deploys Motorist Delivery Service to Ensure Comfort During Eid Exodus
Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - Pertamina Patra Niaga, as the Downstream Subholding of PT Pertamina (Persero), continues to strengthen its energy service readiness during the Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr Task Force period in 2026, including through the Motorist Pertamina Delivery Service (PDS) deployed on major mudik routes.
A total of 200 Motorist Pertamina Delivery Service units have been stationed at various strategic points, including toll roads and arterial routes with high potential for congestion, as well as areas with limited access, to ensure that the public’s energy needs are met during their mudik journeys.
This service is provided as an emergency aid to assist the public who run out of fuel (BBM), especially in the midst of traffic jams or locations far from petrol stations.
In addition, the fuel price paid by the public remains in line with the official SPBU prices, without any additional delivery fees. This reflects Pertamina Patra Niaga’s commitment to providing convenience while maintaining the affordability of energy services for the public.
Corporate Secretary of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Roberth MV Dumatubun, stated that the presence of this motorist service is part of Pertamina Patra Niaga’s efforts to deliver the best energy services to the public during mudik and the return journey for Eid.
“Pertamina Patra Niaga is introducing the Motorist Pertamina Delivery Service as a solution for the public needing fuel during their journeys, especially when facing traffic jams or locations far from SPBU. We are deploying this service to ensure that the public can continue their travels safely and comfortably,” said Roberth in a press release on Thursday (19/3/2026).
Roberth added that the placement of motorists is done strategically on routes prone to congestion to anticipate potential emergency situations during the mudik period.
“Through this service, we want to ensure that the public does not need to worry when facing fuel shortages during their journey. Our motorist staff are ready to reach the location of mudik travellers directly to provide quick assistance,” stated Roberth.
The presence of this service has also received appreciation from the public. One mudik traveller heading to Bandung, Adi Ahmad, admitted to being greatly helped by the service.
“Having fuel delivery via motorist if you break down on the toll road is really cool. To the motorist friends from Pertamina Patra Niaga, keep up the good work because you’ve helped many people, stay motivated even in the heat or rain,” said Adi.
With various additional services deployed, Pertamina Patra Niaga is committed to continuing to provide the best service to support the smooth flow of mudik and return traffic for Eid 2026.
